ケティルの息子オルマルが一人前になるため、農場の用心棒である「客人」たちは通過儀礼としてオルマルに「殺しの経験」を積ませようとする。
ある朝、悪夢にうなされて起きたトルフィンと農場での生活に希望を見出し始めていたエイナルの前に客人たちが現れる。
As Ketil’s son Ormal grows into a full-fledged man, the farm guards known as the “guests” attempt to give him “killing experience” as a rite of passage. One morning, the guests appear before Thorfinn, who wakes up with a nightmare, and Einar, who has begun to find hope in life on the farm.
